Table and Chairs Options

Bonjour, Chers Amis, 

We are so excited to bring to you the second annual Le Diner en Blanc, Rochester! 

As you register via the official international website, we realize one area of the invite will be confusing and we would like to take a moment to help. We anticipate you may need some information in regards to tables. 

In the spirit of the original Le Diner en Blanc and how it has been celebrated for 35 years around the world, there is an excitement to bringing your own table and chairs and setting up in your city's unique surroundings. If you participated last year, you may recall we provided the tables and chairs to kick off the inaugural event. This year, the Le Diner en Blanc International Committee is ready for us to join the world. In as much, we do understand the fun of bringing your own items may not be for everyone. 

To accommodate everyone and their unique ideas, we are offering 2 choices for you. Please read them carefully; we will be available to answer your questions! 

Note: everyone buys the same ticket. 

1. You may bring your own table and white chairs. These may be bought or rented. The table must be 30” x 30” only. The table is covered in white linen and therefore doesn’t need to be white, though it would certainly be preferred. The white linen must measure 90” x 90” and the chairs must be white. You will be responsible for bringing them to and from the event. Each table of this size is for 2 people. By selecting this option, you choose the true Le Diner en Blanc experience. We encourage you to take this opportunity to showcase your creativity and flair and decorate your table to impress!! 

2. For anyone who is not interested in bringing a table, a choice to have a table already on site is available. These tables will be 8 ft tables and your rental fee will be to rent 2 seats of 6 at the table. Please navigate to the e-store and select the $10 option for this choice. This option will include a table linen to avoid confusion among the table participants. Beautiful table decor is still encouraged. The tables and chairs on site will still require set up from folded in order to bring a part of the international experience. 

We realize everyone has a different idea how they would like to celebrate. We have chosen these two options in order to stay true to the spirit of the international party as it is done throughout the world AND combine the unique needs of a small city like Rochester. In as much, the spirit of the event is to make new friends and celebrate with existing. In order to accommodate both choices, we will need to have the 8 ft tables set up together and the card tables set up in a different section. If you want to sit with friends only, please coordinate your choices. Feel free to reach out to your table leader with questions and we apologize in advance for any confusion.
